Learning Outcomes and Application | This unit covers a basic understanding of the principles and commercial metal casting practices. The unit will enable a person to be able to safely access areas of a metal casting business and to identify and explain casting processes. The unit is suitable as a VET in Schools unit and for introductory training in metallurgy where the person does not have any prior casting work experience. All work is carried out under supervision and in consultation with others. | ||
